A naming ceremony is a beautiful way to celebrate the arrival of a new baby or to warmly welcome an adopted child into your family.
At Agape Love Ceremonies, we help you mark this special occasion with elegance and meaning. Regardless of your cultural background, Christina will craft a bespoke ceremony that reflects your unique wishes, traditions, and values.

Whether you prefer a secular (non-religious) celebration or wish to blend various cultures and customs, she can incorporate your favourite prayers, poems, and music into the ceremony.

As this type of ceremony has no legal requirements, you can choose any location, provided you have permission.
Christina will take the time to get to know you and understand what you need to make your ceremony truly meaningful. She will guide you in writing your personal messages to show your love and commitment to your child. You might also want other family and friends involved showing their personal commitment to support your child—while guiding them toward a future filled with happiness, health, and success.

The ceremony can also include symbolic gestures, such as Tree Planting, Candle Lighting, or Hand and Footprinting. For more ideas, please see our blog page. Christina will lead the ceremony, which can be as interactive as you’d like.

Any ideas you have to make the day extra special will be embraced and woven into the ceremony. After all, this day is about your child, who will be the focus of all the love and attention.
How do I arrange a Naming Ceremony?

Before your meeting, think about:
The Venue – Where would you like the ceremony to take place?
Readings & Poems – Are there any special readings, prayers, or poems you’d like to include?
Guest Involvement – Would you like any family or friends to take part?

Step 3: Behind the Scenes Preparations
While you handle invitations, food, and party favours, Christina will be crafting a heartfelt ceremony that makes your child’s Naming Day truly special.​
Step 4: Your Special Day
Relax & Enjoy! There’s no need to stress about strict timings (as long as the venue is flexible).
Agape Love Ceremonies dedicates their time to just one ceremony per day, ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience
Step 5: A Lasting Memory
At the end of the ceremony, you and your chosen supporting adults will receive a beautiful certificate as a keepsake of this joyous occasion.
Our Naming Ceremony Packages
What's Included?
1) Personal one to one meeting with Christina the Agape Love Celebrant to listen to your ideas, plan and review your ceremony.

2) Ongoing contact with Christina to discuss your ceremony.
​
3) A copy of your ceremony two weeks prior to the event to allow you to review, add, alter or amend on receipt of final payment.
​
4) Personal attendance at the time and location of your ceremony by your celebrant to preside over your ceremony.
​
5) Beautiful, embossed certificate signed on the day by you and your child’s Godparents / supporting adults as part of the service.
